Hey, this is Chinmai Swamy, and do you have 20 minutes? Do you have 20 minutes in a day?
But I can help you conquer your day, conquer your life like this, like, you know, imagine you do this exercise. What I want to share with you today, the whole day is going to be amazing and and more amazing days. You know, life's going to get better. So what is it? What are you gonna do in 20 minutes? No matter what time you wake up, stop pegging your time to your life, your ability to make a beautiful day with the two hands on your clock.
Stop doing that. Time is useless. Time doesn't exist in the speech. Any time is a construct created by man. So time doesn't work. Time doesn't exist. So stop evaluating yourself by time to. So what is twenty minutes means in my. Well I know. So what's different? What I meant is what time you wake up and you wake up at five a.m. or seven a.m. or 10 a.m.. 11 a.m.. Doesn't matter what time you wake up, don't decide whether you have a great day, a productive day or an amazing day based on the time you wake up.
It's got nothing to do with that. It's got a lot to do with the twenty minutes you do when you do get up. So what? Twenty minutes. Twenty minutes. Ten minutes as you need to exercise, just do simple stretching on yoga, simple stretching and or just go for a quick run. OK, quick cardio at home. If you don't want to go out for a run, just do cardio hit bodyweight exercise for just ten minutes.
Just ten minutes. OK, that's the first part to put a timer and you can do it exactly for ten minutes. If it goes over you're going to stop exactly at ten minutes. You have to just be disciplined to do ten minutes of cardio or just stretch your body, decide, you decide and you're going to do it for ten minutes. And after that you can immediately go have a nice glass of water. That this is optional, you can drink water whenever you want and the next part of the 10 minutes is, you know, you're going to pick up a book and read it or listen to a book for ten minutes.
And I want you to just listen to any nonfiction book you want. Like pick up a book in your library and just read Random Book Doesn't Matter and read for ten minutes. It has to be a nonfiction book and that is only that's all the two things you do for 20 minutes when you wake up. That's what I do every day. Ten minutes stretch and 20 minutes or listen to something, listen to an audible or 10 minutes to listen to a recording.
And I know webinar recording of downloaded or an online course I have downloaded which are paid for anything. Ten minutes. I just listen to the reason I do that is ten minutes of me telling my body, hey, get in order. The bosses here, I'm the boss, so I'm telling my body to fall in line. That's a 10 minute exercise to tell, to connect with every part of the body, to say, hey, how are you doing, the bosses here?
Because, you know, when your managers and your bosses at home, you will perform well in the presence of the boss. Everyone performs at the best something everybody, the bosses here. So that's stretching ten minutes. And then to the mind, when I read, I'm telling my mind, hey, the bosses here, come on. This is new. Let's get to work. I want you to be at your best. So the mind is like not absorbing new information and helping me.
So the boss, I'm the boss and my mind and my body works for me, not the other way around. And when you do that for a few days, you will see the magic of how much control you have in your life. And that's what you need. Twenty minutes to control the day you start that by controlling your body and the mind. The two amazing pieces of equipment you have have the body in your mind. 20 minutes. That's all.
