Hey, in this Daily Dynamo, we are talking about how you must handle your competition, the best way to handle competition when you handle it this way, you actually get more clients. Hey, this is Chinmai Swamy, your host at Daily Dynamo. In today's episode, I'm talking about how to handle competition. This was a very important and very crucial topic because when you start off, you will find other people who are doing similar things to you. And that's natural because you see, when you set your mind, focus on what you want, you will start to attract people who are doing the same thing. You will start out right.

You will start seeing peers with you. Like if you start to be a fitness coach, you will start seeing you start to join groups on Facebook, on LinkedIn. You'll start to communicate with the other coaches as well. That's part of the game because that's how it works. You get what you want. You want to be a fitness coach. You want to be a business coach. You want to be a bit of a chef. You will attract people who are already there or doing similar things or who are in pursuit of who wants to get there.

So when that is natural, when you go online, when you interact on groups and forums, you are going to meet other peers so hard and then out the competition and you might get people who are successful then you and when you look at them, you might find what I want to be like. Yes. So you will get competition. You will get peers, all of them, because that's part of the game.

Sure, you will meet people who are in pursuit of your same goals because you attract who you want to become. That's when you have to understand that. So you need to accept it and use it to your benefit, how to use it to your benefit. The best way to handle people who are doing similar things to you are identical to you is to admire them, is to love them, is to find out the good in them.

That's right. You know why? Because let's take a look. Let's take the opposite approach. If you don't find the good in them, if you don't admire them, what's going to happen until you take competition? You have two or three people in your mind or you can immediately think of who you know are doing a OK job and you think that you can do a better job, better job than them. That's in your mind. That's what you are.

That's what you think when you look at these people. So for you, they are your competition. They are taking over your clients. That's what you have. That's the conclusion you've arrived at. Now, when you find fault, when you don't admire them and you criticise them in your mind, and when you find when you are jealous of them, what happens is you are adding barriers, you are adding blocks in your own life to what they are doing.

So let's say your competition is doing a Facebook live whilst, well, struggling and your competition is doing even marketing with the subject you found to be too salty and you. OK, let's add one more then you found another competition of yours who you found the graphics they use on the videos is to be too flashy and to want to flash. OK, let's stick to that. Now, what happens is when you have to do email, when you have to write a subject line, when you have to do Facebook, like when you have to add graphics to your own business, you have added these barriers, no flashy, no sales subject, no scamming subject, no Facebook.

Like when you're running, you have added all these barriers and you think these barriers are only for those particular scenarios. Now, these barriers block you from doing anything related to that particular area, Facebook life, and you criticise someone who's done a Facebook level competition and you find fault in them. Next time you go Facebook life, you are less enthusiastic about it and less time. Next time you want to write a subject line, you are more critical about your own self because you want to make sure others don't find fault in you.

Next time you want to add graphics, you are going to find something which is less art, a glass shiny. So when that happens, you're blocking yourself. You see when you see a competition, do something. I admire them. When you admire them, you are going to copy them. You're going to be inspired and inspired by them and you are going to implement it in your own style. It's impossible for you to copy your competition. OK, so you need to understand that for you to be inspired first you need to find the goodness in that if you get inspired and if you don't implement, then you have found a fault in that person if you get inspired and you implement.

It's amazing. So take a look when you inspire and you get intimidated by what you got inspired, then you have criticised the person you have found fault in that person or any of that topic the person has you are inspired by. And if you are and if you have inspired and you straightaway implement in a straight line, you don't get deviation. You've just gone there. You go straight and you get the job done, then you have been truly inspired.

You have really admired the other person, the choice is yours, how you get inspired. OK, so that's what I was. How you handle a competition or you handle your peers, you handle people around you because people around you are people who you attract because of who you are and what you want to become and the journey you're on. So if you're a business card, you will see other business coaches feel fitness cost, fitness, the fitness coach, you will see and interact and meet other fitness coaches.

It's part of the law of the universe. So embrace it and use it to your advantage. And I hope you like it. This is Daily Dynamo and I'm so glad you're here. And I'll see you in the next episode.
