How do you get a lot of tasks done in a day? It's very simple. This Daily Dynamo is just for you.

I'm Chinmai Swamy and welcome to Daily Dynamo for short and powerful episodes with proven strategies and systems to boost your confidence, increase your sales and get virtual clients.

Hello. How do you get more work done? How do you get all the tasks? I know you've written down your tasks on a piece of paper, you're going to write all the tasks you want to do. At the end of the day, you struggle. Even at beginning of the day, you might do one or you don't even get started on the list.

How do you overcome that challenge? I know it's painful because the shocking truth is, you know exactly what you need to do every day to get closer to your goals and change your life. And you know that. But it's painful when you can't do it. How do you do it?

Simple thing.

Right down all the tasks. And then set an intention, a common intention for the task. What are you going to achieve when you complete all of the tasks?

What is your intention? Set that. When you said a common intention for all the tasks you are aligned, you are congruent with all the tasks. That's the intention.

Then you can remember one intention. You can't remember 10 tasks. The shocking thing is, let's say you write 10 tasks to get done. Then tasks to publish your website or to launch a webinar. You start off with one and then you stop and you don't complete the task.

But now when you set an intention saying, I want to sell my product in less than twenty minutes using a video, Then you will figure out how to do it. Less than twenty minutes. OK, how do I do that.

You start practicing for 20 minutes. That's your intention. You keep saying that for the whole day. Even i you don't get anything done, but you're aligned with one thing you will start looking for. You will start organizing your sales page and your sales script for 20 minutes. You will start structuring your product in a sales pitch like, you know, how you introduce your benefits, your features. You offer an insight like five minutes or ten minutes.

You'll start thinking creatively. Everything you do, you'll be like 20 minutes, 20 minutes, 20 minutes. You start timing your your presentation for 20 minutes. You'll start looking for 20 minute presentations for inspirations and you will be so creative when you have one intention, and even if you don't get all the task done for the day, you will use that focus for the next day to get it done.

Because the outcome of not having an intention for each day is that, Let's say, without the intention, what happens? You write down all the tasks and then you don't get anything done. So tomorrow with that feeling of not having done anything, you would come back with a clean sheet of paper and come up with a new set of tasks, something to make you feel better and then you don't get any of those done again.

And then comes the next day. And then you again start with a new task, a new piece of paper, and you start with a new set of tasks and you don't. Give it a couple of weeks and you will notice that you have a list of big tasks and zero results, zero production.

That's the problem. But now, when you have an intention, let's say you want to do a 20 minute sales pitch and record it and get sales, and get at least five sales in a month, forget the market, five sales.

Then, if you don't get anything for day one, then day two, you will come back with the same intention and you will start with those tasks again. You will revisit that intention and get a take a look at the tasks and you might change a few. You might make them better and then you will have the same intention until you complete it, until you achieve it.

That's how you go.

And of course, there might be other tasks which will come in the way, but they will be secondary tasks or supporting tasks. They are the primary tasks. Your primary intention is the one you set. It's not a goal. It's intention, because once you have these intentions, you will get these intentions done in a day and it gives you laser focus.
