Hey, this is Chinmai Swamy. You're watching another episode of Daily Dynamo. 

In this episode, we're talking about how you can wake up two important things in your life.

You only have two things. You only own these two amazing, AMAZING items in your life. And when you know how to use them, your life will just be AMAZING.

Forget your life. Your day would be amazing,

Your day would be exactly how you wanted. You'll start living your dream life. OK, these two things, are you ready?

It's your body and your mind.

That's it. It is as simple as that.

You own your body and you have your mind. And how do you get the most of it? How do you  make the best? How do you make these two, operating at the best?

Well, your body, when you wake up first thing in the morning, you need to make sure

that your body and your mind is primed, It's ready to help you on your path to what you want to achieve for the day.

So what I do is, First thing when I wake up. I always spend 10 minutes with my body, to stretch. I just stretch. My body had been sleeping for a good six to eight hours, depending on what I'm saying.

So I stretch my body for ten minutes. That's it. Nothing more. 10 minutes.

I just try to just let every part, every muscle of my body know that, hey, I need you to wake up. I need you. So my body stretched. Like telling you that I need the day started. I want you at your best. Let's get ready. And that's how I wake up my body. 

And next is my mind. The next ten minutes I just pick up a book and I read for ten minutes. Only ten minutes. Not a fictional book. It's nonfiction. Something which I can learn because when I learn, I expand my mind.

I actually add another viewpoint. I add another thing I can learn.

So it's helping me become even more aware, helping me learn about new things.

So I would learn. I would just read for ten minutes only. I would put a stopwatch on my watch  and after ten minutes, I would just stop. In those ten minutes I would have learned something new or removed something out of my mind.

So that activity of reading wakes my mind up. 

OK, so that's how I wake up, I kickstart the day by waking up the two important items of my life, my body and my mind.

That's only 20 minutes, isn't it?

20 minutes is perfect because that just gives me time to do other things, because with my beautiful daughter, 20 minutes is all I can get. For now, of course, I would want to do the 30 minutes, 60 minutes or the cardio for 20 minutes.

Yes, but I know you also want to get those done. But for now, start with ten minutes. And the key thing is, it's not the ten minutes or the 20 minutes. The key thing is how you do it every day.

That's fine. So build it up.

So I started with five minutes and now I'm at 10 minutes, so that's how I perform. So I wake up my body and mind and how I would take this is the Daily Dynamo takeaway for you. It's how you will wake up the most important two elements of your life. 

You know what? Some days you will miss. It's OK.

The rule I follow is, it's OK to miss one day, but never two days in a row. No matter what, I always make sure it's not two consecutive days, so because that's the power of two.

So I will do that. I will talk about it in another Daily Dynamo episode. For now, all you need to know is that you need to make sure that you don't miss two days in a row. But also the most important thing is that you need to be gentle with yourself. Don't punish yourself if you miss one day, because it's OK.

Missing one day, it happens, life gets in the way or something happens that you might have to work late night. You might have to handle something else which didn't allow you to do this, the waking up of the body and mind first thing in the morning.

It's OK. Don't punish yourself, don't scrutinize yourself. Give yourself a break to be free to fail sometimes because YOU are important, YOU are the real hero here.

So it's OK. Sometimes you miss it. Always. That's the key thing. Be gentle.

If you miss it one day, it's OK.
